Mr. Rachid Talbi El Alami represents HM the King at the investiture ceremony of the new Argentine president
Buenos Aires – The President of the House of Representatives, Mr. Rachid Talbi El Alami, represented HM King Mohammed VI, at the inauguration ceremony of the new Argentine President, Mr. Javier Milei, which took place on Sunday in Buenos Aires.
The official inauguration ceremony of Mr. Javier Milei took place at the headquarters of the Argentine Congress, in the presence of the King of Spain Felipe VI, the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, and many heads of state from the region, including the Chilean Gabriel Boric, the Uruguayan Luis Lacalle Pou, the Ecuadorian Daniel Noboa, the Paraguayan Santiago Pena and the former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, as well as delegations representing several countries of the world.
In a statement to MAP, Mr. Talbi El Alami indicated that during this ceremony, he conveyed to Mr. Milei the greetings and congratulations of HM the King on the occasion of his election to the presidency of the Argentine Republic, stressing the willingness of the Kingdom of Morocco to advance the excellent relations between Rabat and Buenos Aires in different areas.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives was accompanied by the Moroccan Ambassador to Argentina, Mr. Fares Yassir.
HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Mr. Javier Milei in which the Sovereign welcomed the close and privileged relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Argentina, which are based on solid friendship and mutual appreciation, expressing His determination to work together with Mr. Javier Milei to deepen bilateral cooperation and develop it in the various areas of common interest, in the service of the two friendly peoples.
