The program leader of MrBeast, alias Ava Kris Tyson, is stepping down from the YouTube channel following allegations of grooming.
Recently, Ava Kris Tyson (born in ’96) has been accused of grooming.
Now she announces that she has chosen to resign from the YouTube channel, and shortly after, MrBeast also comments on the allegations.
The allegations against the now 28-year-old YouTuber claim that she sent inappropriate messages to a 13-year-old when she was 20 herself.
Ava Kris Tyson denies grooming anyone, but still apologizes for inappropriate behavior.

“I would like to apologize for my past behavior or comments if they have hurt or offended anyone. That was not my intention. Due to the recent events, we have mutually decided that it is best for me to permanently step back from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health,” Ava writes on X.
She further clarifies that the person involved has denied that the YouTuber groomed him.
“These videos are massive lies and twist the truth. Ava never did anything wrong and just made a couple of edgy jokes. I was never exploited. Can you do me a favor and comment on these videos and ask them to stop spreading lies? This situation doesn’t serve the children who are actively exploited every day on the internet. I am not a victim of anything these videos claim or at all,” he writes on his own X account.
Ava apologizes for things she has previously posted and clarifies that she understands her humor back then was not acceptable.
“I humbly apologize to everyone I have hurt with my unacceptable social media posts, past actions, and to anyone who feels betrayed by my past behavior online. To combine these two factors and create a narrative that my behavior went beyond bad edgy jokes is disgusting and it didn’t happen. In recent years, I have learned that my past humor is not acceptable. I cannot change who I was, but I can move on and work on myself,” she writes.
In conclusion, she explains that she does not want the allegations against her to affect others working with the MrBeast channel. That is why she chooses to step back.

As a result of the allegations, MrBeast has faced multiple calls to distance himself from his colleague.
Many have also wanted him to comment on the allegations himself. He has now done so.
“In the last few days, I have been made aware of serious allegations against Ava Tyson’s behavior online, and I am horrified and strongly opposed to such unacceptable actions. During this time, I have focused on hiring an independent third party to conduct an investigation so that I am sure I have all the facts. That being said, I have seen enough online to immediately remove Ava from the company, my channel, and everything related to MrBeast. I do not support such inappropriate actions. I will allow the independent investigators the time they need to conduct a thorough investigation and will take further action based on their findings,” MrBeast writes on X.
