Mross and Hertel’s daughter wants this job: It’s NOT the music! | Entertainment

Pies instead of trumpets.

Daughter Johanna Mross does not seem to want to follow in her musical footsteps Schlager parents Stefan Mross and Stefanie Hertel (43) kick. At least not professionally. Because “More than Words” is only sung in the family band by mom and stepdad Lanny Lanner (48).

Johanna’s professional heart beats for something much sweeter: cakes! The 21-year-old decided to train as a confectioner and is now in her second year of training. Mama Stefanie blurted that out on the talk show “Riverboat”.

“I was surprised myself that she suddenly came up and said: ‘I want to do an apprenticeship as a confectioner’,” she tells moderation duo Kim Fisher (53) and Matze Knop (48). Johanna is already a hit at parties and for Sunday coffee: “She makes really great cakes.”

Stefanie Hertel had other career plans

In contrast to her daughter, the 43-year-old’s heart beat for music quite early. At the age of four, Hertel was already on stage and enchanted all viewers on her father Eberhard Hertel’s (84) Christmas tour with “Schneeflöckchen, Weißröckchen”. How big!

For Stefanie Hertel it was clear early on: She wants to sing!

Actually, dad wanted to hold his little daughter’s hand during the big performance, but she wanted to do it all by herself. “It was clear to me that I wanted to be a singer, and there was no alternative for me either,” she reveals. With success!

But Johanna is not completely away from the (music) window. “More than Words” is going on tour this year.
