Speaking at this ceremony, held at the INAS headquarters in Tangier, Ms. Hayar highlighted the important role that the Institute plays in the field of social action since its creation 40 years ago, noting the importance of the future roles that it will play in terms of training social workers and social work specialists, with a view to supporting the major projects launched by Morocco, including the social protection project, in application of the High Guidelines of SM King Mohammed VI.
These roles, continued the minister, are in line with the 2021-2026 government program and the new strategy of the social center, stressing that the demand for social work professions continues to increase, given the growing need quality social services, to ensure care for disabled people and those in difficult situations, as well as the elderly.
Ms. Hayar also highlighted the importance of the social worker cadre, which was included in 2022 in social coverage, and which will provide numerous employment opportunities for Institute graduates and social work specialists, calling on the cadres and the Institute’s professors to intensify their efforts to further promote the quality of training, develop scientific research in the social field, and open up to successful experiences.
This ceremony was an opportunity for the students of the Institute and their parents to share with the winners this moment of consecration, which crowns years of work and diligence in this establishment.
This 38th class of INAS since its creation includes 40 winners in the “social service” and “social animation” courses.
