For decades she belonged to the ensemble of the Vienna Burgtheater. She gained wider fame in the crime series “Kottan determined”. Bibiana Zeller has now died at the age of 95.

The Austrian actress Bibiana Zeller is dead. She died on Sunday at the age of 95, her son Fabian Eder confirmed on Monday to the German Press Agency. Mimin had been a member of the ensemble at the Vienna Burgtheater since 1972.
She became known to a wider television audience in the early 1980s as Mrs. Kottan in the satirical crime series “Kottan Investigated”. Zeller also played in the TV series “Julia – Eine Unusual Frau” with Christiane Hörbiger in the leading role. Her trademarks included a subtle sense of humor and a flair for the whimsical, as well as a bright, fragile voice. (dpa)
