Gaza, 7 Nov. (time.news) – “Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is saddened by the disappearance of one of its humanitarian workers in Gaza, Mohammed Al Ahel, killed together with several members of his family on 6 November”. The humanitarian health relief organization wrote this in a statement, adding that “Mohammed had been working as a laboratory technician for MSF for over two years and was in his home in the Al Shati refugee camp when the area was bombed and the building collapsed, killing, according to local reports, dozens of people.”

“It is clear that no place in Gaza is safe from brutal and indiscriminate bombing – says MSF – According to health authorities in Gaza, more than 10,000 people have been killed, including over 4,000 children. Repeated calls for an immediate ceasefire have fallen on deaf ears, even if a halt to the fighting represents the only way to avoid further senseless deaths in the Strip and to allow an adequate level of humanitarian aid to Gaza.”

“Across the Strip – continues the statement – defenseless people continue to lose family members and homes, while world leaders fail to take meaningful action. At this tragic moment, MSF continues to be gravely concerned for all its workers in Gaza , many of whom are still working in hospitals in the Strip to provide life-saving care. MSF once again calls for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire.”
