MSP and MinEduc launched the Intercollegiate “United for Art” – Ministry of Public Health

Within the framework of the International Day to Combat Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, this June 26, 2023, the Ministries of Health (MSP) and Education (Mineduc) launched the Intercollegiate “United for Art” .

The activity was part of the MSP’s “Reconnect” Prevention Week. The inauguration took place at the Bolivarian Technical Institute (ITB) and was attended by around 900 people, including participants and attendees.

It was made up of 22 educational units: 12 fiscal and 10 private. They participated with musical, theater and dance presentations; which promoted the constructive and adequate use of free time in students through artistic, cultural and recreational activities that promote protective factors, in order to prevent the use and consumption of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in educational communities.

Likewise, the presentations generated social awareness and individual personality for responsible decision-making.

The MSP and MinEduc event will have three phases: inauguration, semifinal and grand finale. At the inauguration eight educational institutions were selected; in the semifinal that will be at the end of July, three will be chosen and in the grand final that will take place at the end of August; First, second and third place will be selected.

The MSP, committed to society and the educational community, will continue working on the construction and implementation of all the necessary tools to potentiate the life skills of the most vulnerable population.
