MTS registered the trademark “Just ask me”

On December 8, the MTS operator registered the trademark “I just have to ask”, follows from the data of SPARK-Interfax. The operator will own the trademark for almost 10 years – until September 12, 2032. MTS submitted the application on September 12, 2022.

MTS can use the phrase in computer games, images, videos, radio programs, audio books, podcasts, calls and ringtones for mobile phones, when conducting entertainment events, publishing interactive books, etc., follows from the MTS application on the Rospatent website.

“I just have to ask” is the title of a series of short video interviews produced by MTS, a representative of the operator’s press service explained to Vedomosti. “Just Ask Me” episodes were released on YouTube, RuTube, VK from October 12, 2018 to December 23, 2021.

Now the project is suspended, the representative of MTS reported. According to him, it was “initially a time-limited project that achieved its goals.” However, the phrase MTS was registered as a trademark in order to avoid risks with its use in the future.

In addition, the operator filed applications for the registration of a number of trademarks, incl. Elur – for a division in the publishing house of the Stroky service, DetectiveJam – for the TV channel of the same name, as well as Lil Card, which MTS, according to its representative, does not plan to use yet.
