History of Mughals will not be taught in Dab schools. In academic session 24-2023, the Mughal chapter has been removed from the history book taught in Class 12. According to the changes made by the UP government in the syllabus of CBSE and UP Board, Class XII students will no longer study Mughal history. NCERT has made this important change in the academic session 2023-2024. This decision of UP Govt will be applicable to both UP board and CBSE board.Changed syllabus is also available in the market
. Along with this, changes have also been made in the syllabus of Class XI. Chapters like Rise of Islam, Clash of Cultures, Industrial Revolution, Beginning of Time have also been removed. Instead, the emphasis will be on the history of the kings and kingdoms of India.
Apart from this, lessons on Rise of Islam, Clash of Cultures, Industrial Revolution, Beginning of Time have been removed from the eleventh book.
