It has been almost ten months since Garbiñe Muguruza played her last tennis match. It was back on January 30th. And her return is not planned… at least in the short term.
This was revealed by Garbiñe in an interview with Women’s Health’, in which she talked about her new life away from the tennis courts.
“I am living this break in a very happy way since it was something that my body and my mind needed so I am really enjoying these moments,” says the Spanish-Venezuelan tennis player.
Tennis is not in his daily life. “Tennis currently has no place in my routine…” she says.
“I still pay attention to my teammates, from time to time I can play, but not intensely but more for fun. It doesn’t occupy my mind, my day or my routines, I’m really taking a real break,” he expresses.
What do you miss about tennis?
Garbiñe confesses and says what he misses about his team: “Sharing with my team, that union that brings very good moments of support, of suffering, of being together…”.
“Tennis doesn’t occupy my mind, my day or my routines, I’m really taking a real break and trying to stay away from the courts,” she explains.
