The National Civil Police reported early Tuesday morning a multiple accident that occurred on the Bulevar de los Próceres, which unfortunately left one person injured, however, no fatalities were recorded.
According to PNC data, on the boulevard, a truck driver lost control and hit the dividers. Minutes later, a motorcyclist lost control due to the smoothness of the road and was hit by a truck.
“The victim suffered multiple fractures and was taken to hospital. Vehicular traffic is complicated in the area due to the clean-up work being carried out at this time,” the police said in a post published about the incident.
At the scene of the incident, a road is reported to be closed for clean-up work. Authorities from the Civil Protection Department and the Fire Department are cleaning up a diesel spill.
“We ask drivers to heed the instructions of our officers,” added the National Civil Police.
