Mumbai: The 16-year-old lover, who was arrested by the Shivdi police for allegedly pushing his girlfriend, who is two years older than him, from the fourth floor and killing her, has been sent to the Dongri Juvenile Home. Senior PI Rohit Khot said that the accused is a minor. The mother of the deceased has accused him of murdering her daughter. According to Dongri police, Bharti Rakesh Kasbe alias Yasmin Akbar Sheikh lived in Brick Bandar of Shivdi. She has an 18-year-old daughter named Kashish Rakesh Kasbe alias Kashish Akbar Sheikh. She was friends with her minor neighbour two years younger than her since childhood, which turned into love as she grew up. Both wanted to get married and live away from their families. But due to lack of space in the house, both were living in an empty ruined building near Tata Maidan in Shivdi for the last four days.

The lover confessed his crimePolice officials said that after having dinner on Sunday night, Kashish went to sleep with her boyfriend. On Monday, people saw both of them normal but on Tuesday morning, local people saw Kashish lying injured on the ground floor. Shivdi police admitted Kashish to KEM hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Initially, Shivdi police registered an ADR and started investigating the case, then Kashish’s mother told the police that Kashish had a fight with her boyfriend on Monday night. Therefore, Kashish’s boyfriend should be questioned because she suspects him. When the police took Kashish’s boyfriend into custody and questioned him, he admitted that there was first an argument between the two and then a heated argument. In anger, he pushed Kashish from the fourth floor.
