Mumbai: Western Railways has decided to increase the frequency of six pairs of superfast trains. According to the Railways, keeping in view the needs of the passengers on the Mumbai route, the frequency of these six pairs of superfast trains has been extended. This will facilitate the passengers. They will be able to reach their destinations easily. The trains whose operation has been increased by the Railways. Many of these trains are important trains. Apart from this, the Railways has also increased the frequency of Vadodara-Sealdah Superfast Special train running from Vadodara division. This train will now remain in operation. Western Railway Chief PRO Vineet Abhishek said that booking of extended frequency of train numbers 02200, 04126, 01920, 01906, 04166 and 04168 will start from July 31, 2024 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website. Passengers can book as per their requirement.
Which trains?
Western Railway has extended train number 02200 Bandra Terminus- Veerangana Laxmibai Weekly Superfast Special till August 31, 2024. Similarly, train number 02199 Veerangana Laxmibai Weekly Superfast Special has been extended till August 29, 2024. Similarly, train number 04126 Bandra Terminus- Subedarganj Weekly Superfast Special has been extended till August 27, 2024. Similarly, train number 04125 Subedarganj – Bandra Terminus Superfast Weekly Special has been extended till August 26, 2024. Railways train number 01920 Ahmedabad-Agra Cantt Tri-Weekly Superfast Special has been extended till September 01, 2024. Similarly, train number 01919 Agra Cantt-Ahmedabad Tri-Weekly Superfast Special has been extended till August 31, 2024.
Increased operation of these trains
Western Railway has extended train number 01906 Ahmedabad – Kanpur Central Weekly Superfast Special till August 27, 2024. Similarly, train number 01905 Kanpur Central-Ahmedabad Weekly Superfast Special has been extended till August 26, 2024. Along with this, train number 04166 Ahmedabad-Agra Cantt Weekly Superfast Special has been extended till August 29, 2024. Similarly, train number 04165 Agra Cantt -Ahmedabad Weekly Superfast Special has been extended till August 28, 2024. Train number 04168 Ahmedabad-Agra Cantt Weekly Superfast Special has been extended till August 26, 2024. Similarly, train number 04167 Agra Cantt -Ahmedabad Weekly Superfast Special has been extended till August 25, 2024.
Vadodara Sealdah will continue to run for now
Western Railways has extended the frequency of Superfast Special trains running from Vadodara Division. Accordingly, train number 03110 Vadodara-Sealdah Weekly Superfast Special was notified till 01 August, 2024, now it has been extended till 26 September, 2024. This train will depart from Vadodara every Thursday at 16:45 and reach Sealdah at 02:50 on Saturday night. Similarly, in return, train number 03109 Sealdah-Vadodara Weekly Superfast Special was notified till 30 July, 2024, now it has been extended till 24 September, 2024. This train will depart from Sealdah every Tuesday at 08:10 and reach Vadodara on Wednesday at 20:00. This train will stop at Godhra, Ratlam, Kota, Shri Mahavirji, Agra Fort, Tundla, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Buxar, Ara, Patna, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, Kiul, Jhajha, Jasidih, Madhupur, Chittaranjan, Asansol, Durgapur, and Bardhaman stations in both directions. Railways has started its booking.
