The MUNA Academic program invites you to the talk “Get to know your collections,” to take place on May 17, at 10:00 am, in the foyer of the Dr. David J. Guzmán National Museum of Anthropology (MUNA).
The talk, which will take place within the framework of International Museum Day, will be given by archaeologist Claudia Alfaro, from the MUNA Research and Curatorial Unit, who will talk about the importance of these dynamic educational institutions to promote learning, cultural discovery and understanding.
“We invite you to the talk in which we will learn about the importance of research and the curious pieces of the MUNA,” said Alfaro.
The archaeologist also explained that International Museum Day, created by the International Council of Museums (ICOM), serves as a global platform to promote the role of these spaces in cultural exchange and development.
