There are 14 automotive brands owned by Stellantis, but of those, only one will be present at the Munich Auto Show, Germany, from September 5th to 10th.

A Stellantis spokesman confirmed that Opel will be the only one of its brands at the event. This is disappointing news for anyone planning to attend the event and means that other prominent Stellantis brands such as Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat and Jeep will not be showing their latest models, despite all selling vehicles in Europe.

It is understood that Opel will use the event to highlight its electrification move and use it to show the Astra Sports Tourer Electric for the first time to the public. Auto News notes that the 2024 Corsa Electric unveiled just a few days ago will also be on display.

Opel and its letters:

Opel has confirmed that the Corsa Electric will be offered with two powertrain options. These will consist of a basic variant with an electric motor delivering 134 hp and 357 km of range. It will also be available with a 154 hp electric motor and a 54 kWh battery that gives the compact hatchback a range of 406 km.

The Astra Sports Tourer Electric’s powertrain is very similar. In fact, it also consists of a single front-mounted electric motor with 154 hp and 199 lb-ft (270 Nm) of torque that is also powered by a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery. It has an estimated range of 416 km and the battery can be charged to 80% capacity in 30 minutes using a 100 kWh DC fast charger.

A third model will also be presented by Opel at the Munich event. But, according to the company, “it remains a surprise for now.”
