Munich – New earthquake in the comedy in the Bayerischer Hof!
The public prosecutor’s office in Munich I. accuses the ex-artistic director and shareholder Thomas Pekny of “repeating access to child and youth pornographic content”.
And filed charges (BILD reported).
According to BILD information, Pekny is said to have surfed the Internet on relevant sites. Now witnesses are to be questioned.
Theater director René Heinersdorff is shocked. He to BILD: “I’m slowly losing patience with Pekny. I am very surprised that I had to learn about the charges from the press. I haven’t heard from Mr. Pekny for three weeks. If the accusations are only rudimentarily true, that means the end of the comedy for him.”

Heinersdorff, who took over the direction of the comedy from Pekny at the end of 2021 because he was accused of serious sexual abuse (but was later acquitted), is beside himself: “The allegations in the room are a disaster for the house. I hope that the public prosecutor’s office will clarify this very quickly. Even if the presumption of innocence applies: I can only give Mr. Pekny the urgent advice to avoid the comedy from now on. And I expect that he will get back to me immediately. If he is guilty, he can no longer stay in the company.

Pekny (who is still responsible for the set design in the comedy) owns 49 percent of the theater business – he had given 51 percent to Heinersdorff when he was on trial at the time.
What happened? In July 2021, the public prosecutor’s office accused Pekny of sexually assaulting sleeping women in the rehearsal rooms after the Oktoberfest. It came to a court hearing. The testimony of an affected woman was rated as very credible by the court. However, since she had no memories of the period of the accused acts and some time before and after, the court could not rule out that she – as alleged by Pekny – had given her consent to the filming of her private parts.
Pekny was then acquitted.
Now the next trial threatens him. Based on even tougher allegations. A date for the court hearing has not yet been set.
Pekny could not be reached for comment yesterday.
