TIJUANA.- They will offer free Mexican Sign Language courses from September to December at the Benito Juarez Municipal Library.
The courses with limited space are aimed at adults over 18 years of age and older due to their high demand in this sector of the population.
Classes will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays from September 11 to December 11.
The Casa de La Cultura in the Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez library will give its courses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 12 at the same time.
It is important to learn sign language because it is to eliminate a limitation, with children and young people we tell them it is a barrier and it opens the doors to other forms of communication, the same for adults, we will never know when we are going to need to help a deaf person ( …) we can add one more friend by removing a communication barrier”.
