The municipality of Lovech participates with an advertising stand in the 40th anniversary edition of the international tourist exhibition “Vacation and Spa Expo”, taking place in Sofia from today until March 15. At the exhibition, which is organized by the Inter Expo Center with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, the Municipality of Lovech promotes its cultural and historical heritage and natural attractions, including and Devetashka cave.
The Minister of Tourism, Zaritsa Dinkova, accepted the invitation of the mayor of Lovech, Stracimir Petkov, to visit the city, promising to do so during the summer months. The invitation was issued during the minister’s visit to the municipality’s advertising stand. The Minister of Tourism of Madagascar, Joel Randriamandranto, was also present at the meeting.
Within the framework of the forum, Mayor Petkov also met with Ekaterina Gelovska, executive director of the Association of Bulgarian Tour Operators and Travel Agents, Maria Ofitserova, executive director of the Staroplanin Tourist Region Management Organization, and Venelina Chervenkova, head of the “Strategic Planning and product policy in tourism” to the Ministry of Tourism. At the meetings, modern methods and trends in tourist marketing and advertising for the promotion of “Destination Municipality of Lovech” were discussed.
