Murali Gopy made his film debut in Lal Jose’s Rasikan. At that time, Murali Gopi had only the title of the son of the immortal actor Bharat Gopi. He later became an indispensable screenwriter and actor in Malayalam cinema. Murali Gopi has brought to life super hit films including Lucifer.
Murali Gopi was born on March 4, 1972 in Thiruvananthapuram, the eldest son of Bharat Gopi and Jayalakshmi. For Murali Gopi, the son of Bharat Gopi, cinema was a childhood dream. Murali Gopi wrote the script for the film Rasikan and stepped into that dream. Murali also acted as a villain in the film. He left cinema shortly afterwards and returned to acting five years later with Blessy’s Bhramaram. Mohanlal was the hero.

In 2021, he also wore the producer’s robe in the film ‘Theerp’ directed by Ratheesh Ambot.

“It’s a tripartite film series. Empuran is Lucifer’s second installment. There is another third part in the idea. These are the continuation of Lucifer. I can only say more about it when the film starts. Empuran means my God. It is called someone who stands close to God. The shoot of the film is planned for the middle of 2022, ”said Murali Gopi.
