Citizens with or suspected of having a coronavirus infection should seek medical attention within the first three to four days. This, as reported by “RIA Novosti”, said the Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko.

At the same time, the minister complained that the majority of citizens seek medical help on the fifth or sixth day of illness.

“The actual first 3-4 days are key to <...> ensuring positive outcomes. Unfortunately, I see that often patients seek medical help on the sixth or seventh day, the phase of development of an acute course is already underway [болезни]when the provision of medical care is extremely difficult, the choice of treatment methods is limited, ”said Murashko.

In mid-December, Murashko said that Russia has not yet completely overcome the fourth wave of coronavirus, therefore timely vaccination and revaccination are important.
