(ANSA) – TURIN, 09 AUG – A turning point in the investigation into the murder of the 28-year-old found dead on 26 July in the Ticino woods in Oleggio, in the province of Novara: a man was arrested and a woman was reported at large. The motive was apparently revenge after a rape.
Yesterday, the Carabinieri of the investigative unit of the Novara provincial command notified an arrest warrant issued by the Novara Prosecutor’s Office against DN, 33 years old, single, with a criminal record, considered responsible for the aggravated voluntary homicide of FC, the young man of Moroccan nationality, irregular and of no fixed abode, found dead in the woods. The alleged murderer’s partner, DF, 29 years old, was reported for the same crimes, but at liberty, and was considered a moral accomplice to the crimes.
The man was taken to the Novara prison where yesterday he was subjected to preliminary interrogation by the investigating judge, who issued the precautionary measure of custody in prison. The facts, as far as we know, are to be placed in the degraded context of drug dealing in the area. (ANSA).
