jpnn.comPADANG PARIAMAN – The police are still investigating the murder case of a girl selling fried food with the initials NSK (18) in Padang Pariaman, West Sumatra (Sumbar).

A number of West Sumatra Regional Police officials also visited the victim’s family on Friday (13/9) afternoon.

The visit was carried out by the Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Dwi Sulistyawan, Director of General Criminal Investigation, Senior Commissioner Andry Kurniawan, Head of Propam, Senior Commissioner Hidayat Asykuri Ginting, and staff.

“Our main purpose of coming here is to convey empathy and condolences to the family for the incident that befell the late NSK,” said Senior Commissioner Dwi Sulistyawan, in Parit Malintang, Friday.

At that time, Dwi also assured the victim’s family that the West Sumatra Regional Police would continue to make maximum efforts to uncover the case that had attracted public attention.

He said that the West Sumatra Regional Police Special Team, Padang Pariaman Police and the tracking dog team (K-9) were still continuing to investigate and search for the suspected perpetrator.

“A few days ago, the special team managed to find several pieces of evidence that were suspected to be related to the incident,” he said.

According to Dwi, throughout the process that has been ongoing until now, the special team has begun to narrow down the identity of the alleged perpetrator and is conducting a manhunt.
