New Delhi: Dairy brand Amul congratulated Draupadi Murmu who was elected as the fifteenth President of India. Amul Murmiv was welcomed and wished through social media such as Twitter and Instagram.
This was by sharing a picture of Murmu standing in front of Rashtrapati Bhavan with folded hands. ‘Welcome, Madam President!’ was the caption of the film. Apart from this, the words ‘Murmuthar India’ which means Mother of Murmu India were also included in the film.
Earlier, Amul shared pictures of Draupadi on social media. This was when Draupadi Murmu was announced as the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Alliance. The picture was of Amul brand girl and Draupadi Murmu sitting on a chair and having deep conversations. Amul shared the picture with the caption ‘Draupadi Murmu, India’s first forest-dwelling president’.
Draupadi Murmu was elected as the 15th President of India the other day. Murmu won by getting more votes than expected. At the same time, there was a leakage in the opposition vote as there was no whip in the presidential election. Most vote leakage is from Congress. 17 MPs and 104 MLAs voted across the board. Murmu got a hunt from Kerala.
