On the day of celebration of the 682th anniversary of the founding of Serpukhov, a presentation of the “Museum of Russian Trade Tradition” took place on Lenin Square.
During the presentation, the guests of the holiday learned what would be in the museum’s exposition. Russian merchant traditions and the trade history of Serpukhov will be presented here. Exhibits will tell about what exhibitions and fairs were held in the city, what goods were exported and imported. You will also be able to see old ones, scales, money.
The museum opened in a historic building on Lenin Square (formerly Torgovaya Square). A large-scale reconstruction has recently taken place here.
