The project is related to 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, in particular Goal 5: achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, to support all forms of diversity, and promote gender equality particularly in the world of the record and music industry.

Aperol, as Title Sponsor of the second edition of the Festival, made its realization possible and started the fundraising. Other large companies, such as Findus Green Cuisine, have also joined the collection which is also open to other Groups who want to participate and will be at the center of the social mission of APEROL with HEROES, the great music festival that encompasses the best of the contemporary pop scene that will be held on 17 and 18 September at the Verona Arena, which will contribute with the payment of 10% of its proceeds.

The funds raised will be used for the realization of at least 6 art projects from all over the world, which see women and underrepresented gender minorities as protagonists. Original artistic and musical projects consistent with diversity and gender equality will be supported, developed by multi-gender working groups that daily address the issue of diversity in their own culture, and which, starting from Italy, will join the international Keychange network. The call is open to any body or organization at local, national or international level, profit or non-profit, operating in the music field.
