The 41st edition of the Olcella Popular Festival is underwaya traditional end-of-summer event for the whole of Legnano which from Friday 23 August to Monday 2 September will once again colour the hamlet of Busto Garolfo with music, good food and many opportunities for young and old to spend time together in the parish area.
We start on Friday 23 August with a dinner based on tripefollowed by an evening of I dance with Giacomo. On Saturday 24th, the protagonists on the tables will be the spaghetti with seafoodbefore an evening always dedicated to dancing, but this one with the background of Latin American music of the What a ball, asere. On Sunday 25th, instead, the appointments will start in the morning with the mass for the community and lunch with risottofollowed by dinner with dish of the day polenta and bruscitt and the music of the Easy Band.
The Olcella Popular Festival will continue throughout the week: on Monday 26th there will be dinner with the cassoeula to then dance with Piero Capuanowhile on Tuesday 27th, after the Mass for deceased pensioners and volunteersthere will be the following on the table lasagna bolognese before an evening of dancing with Giacomo. Wednesday 28th August the star of the dinner will be the cod with onionsafter which we will dance with the Stefy Bandwhile on Thursday 29th there will be the pizzoccheri before the music of Barbara Mayer e Roby.
The last weekend of celebrations will open on Friday 30th with the tables set for dinner with shank and potatoes and the music of The Vandalswhich on Saturday 31st will give way to the Donkey stew with polenta and to the music of the Piece Band 883. Sunday 1st September we start again in the morning with the mass for the community followed by the risotto for lunch, and then have dinner with cassoeula and dance with the Fonix Live Bandwhile for the grand finale on Monday evening there will be on the table wild boar and polentabefore the lottery prizes are drawn and the traditional fireworks display.
Furthermore, during the 11 days of celebration, the restaurant service, the fry shop, the grill, the bar, the beer house and the ice cream shop will be open and there will be the wheel of fortunethe charity fishing and a Playground with attractions for children.
