In the Lutheran Church of Shamkir as part of the XIV International Music Festival named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli a concert took place choral group of the Honored Ensemble of the Azerbaijan State Song and Dance Ensemble named after Fikret Amirov under the direction of the artistic director, People’s Artist Agaverdi Pashaevareported Day.Az in the press service of the State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev.
Under the direction of the choirmaster of the Honored Artist Naaly Barateliaaccompanied by accompanists Laly Bagirzade and Ferdin Ilham Mehmedzadehas well as Honored Artist Khayyam Mamedov (kamancha), Emina Eminli (tar), Jafar Hasanov (nagara), soloists Orkhan Alizadeh, Sabina Alizadeh, Zamina Agayeva and Shahnaz Aliyeva presented their performances. The program featured Azerbaijani composer and folk songs.
Let us remind you that from September 18 to 28, on the occasion of National Music Day, the XVI International Music Festival named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, is being held. Within the framework of the festival, concerts, performances, exhibitions, scientific conferences and master classes are held, films are presented in Baku, Shusha, Ganja, Lankaran, Gabala, Nakhchivan and Shamkir, and various events are organized in cultural centers operating in foreign countries.
