The young man suffered from type I diabetes since he was fifteen years old, according to information from Blesk.cz, his heart failed him. His mother Milena also confirmed this on the networks. Hundreds of touching messages from friends, acquaintances and people who knew the young man from musical productions, among other things, went to Benjamin’s loving parents and siblings.
Benjamin inherited his musical genes from his father, who is a soloist in a Janáček opera, and his brother plays the piano and the organ. It was at the request of his parents that Benjamin started playing music – he first started singing, then playing the piano and the soprano flute, then he added the violin. He taught himself to play the viola and the harmonica.
“You made us very happy. Thank you,” written by the hairdresser, entrepreneur and deacon Jan Špilar (59), who, among other things, worked as a make-up artist during the filming of the famous film Forman Amadeus.
“Dear Benjamin, this news is extremely difficult to accept. After all, just last Monday we were playing together in class and planning what we will work on next year, when you want to take the year off from school. I have the wine from you that you brought me for the certificate. I know I will never open it and keep it as a memory for you. A final farewell to Benjamin is underway on Thursday, July 11, from 1 pm in St. Thomas’s Brno church. He will then be buried in the cemetery in the Žebětín area.
