In the live video, Chau Dang Khoa said the information given by Sofia about his company recently was incorrect. He revealed that he intended to stop collaborating with Sofia last year because he discovered cheating.
“After the company discovered the fraud, Sofia wrote me a letter on December 13, 2023 to express his regret,” Chau Dang Khoa expressed. In addition, Chau Dang Khoa also publicized text messages believed to be between him and Sofia. The musician said that after the above letter, he continued to give Sofia a chance.
Regarding the information that the company forced Sofia to the end, Chau Dang Khoa said that this is a fabrication. According to the male musician, he once supported Sofia with money that was not included in the contract.
“The amount of money I spent on Sofia alone amounted to more than 200 million VND. The house deposit, food, and medical expenses are all money we spent on her even though it was not part of the contract terms. Chau Dang Khoa also confirmed that he still responds to Sofia when she texts, and does not avoid it like the singer said before. The male musician provided many screenshots believed to be conversations between him and Sofia.
In addition, according to Chau Dang Khoa, Sofia and the manager’s houses are only 2 floors apart. The singer born in 2000 also knows Chau Dang Khoa’s whereabouts. Therefore, he questioned why Sofia did not come directly to him or manage to resolve the issue.
Regarding the reason for deciding to stop working with Sofia, Chau Dang Khoa explained that she violated the contract, worked with other musicians and accepted shows outside, not through the company.
He said Sofia is not a “chicken that lays golden eggs” and the company has not recovered enough investment capital for Sofia over the years. According to the musician, to make Sofia a famous singer, the company must invest a lot of money.
