Businessman and new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, believes that fees should be introduced for posting long audio and video on the social network. The entrepreneur also offered to charge $8 per month for account verification. In April, the businessman believed that verification checkboxes should be given to all Twitter Blue users.

“The current system of lords and peasants for those who have a “blue mark” or not is complete nonsense. Power to the people for $8 a month,” Musk tweeted.

According to him, the cost of the feature will vary by country. Earlier, The Verge reported on the businessman’s plans to revise the entire verification process and charge up to $19.99 per function per month.

You don’t need to pay money to get a blue tick now. It is given to verified users. On October 27, Elon Musk became the head of Twitter. The businessman dismissed the board of directors. Now he is the sole owner of the social network.
