American entrepreneur and founder of SpaceX Elon Musk responded to the invitation of Dmitry Rogozin, CEO of Roscosmos.
On Tuesday, September 7, the head of Roscosmos said in an interview with CNN that he was inviting Elon Musk to his home as a “family guest” to discuss “exploring the universe”. Rogozin added that “he has already put the kettle on.”
“Thanks! What’s your favorite tea? ” – Musk responded on the same day in his Twitter.
“Let’s start with my grandmother’s favorite Indian tea!” – answered in turn Rogozin on his Twitter page.
On Saturday, September 4, Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin said that the head of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, could be invited to the Vostochny cosmodrome upon completion of the second phase.
In May, Sergei Savelyev, Deputy General Director of the State Corporation Roscosmos for International Cooperation, said that projects related to the exploration of the Moon could become a serious factor for interaction between Russia and the United States.
He noted that the Russian delegation was called to the United States to discuss a wide range of issues, but due to pressure from American senators, the invitation of NASA head Jim Bridenstein was withdrawn.
