Religious advisor. AFM Khalid Hossain said, Our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) has ordered Muslims to be united. There is no alternative to the unity of Muslims for the welfare of the Ummah.

He said these things while addressing a discussion meeting on the occasion of Miladunnabi (PBUH) and Islamic Unity Week at the Kavi Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the National Museum in Shahbag on Saturday (September 21). The Cultural Center of the Iranian Embassy organized the discussion.

The religious advisor said, ‘If the Muslim Ummah can be united, it can give a new world. Al-Aqsa will be able to be saved from Israeli aggression. We have an abundance of resources in the Muslim world. If we can use these resources scientifically, then the Muslim world will wake up with new strength.’

The religious adviser also said, ‘Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) was the mercy of Allah. He was the Prophet of humanity and the whole world. He was the first to establish human rights. He established human rights about 1400 years before the declaration of universal human rights. Before his arrival there was no such thing as human rights on earth. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) first declared that there is no special status of non-Arabs over Arabs or Arabs over non-Arabs, blacks over whites or whites over blacks. All the people of the world are equal and the fear of Allah is the only criterion of excellence.’

The Dharma Adviser also said, ‘Before the arrival of Mahanbir (PBUH), women had no respect and dignity, rather they were considered as the root of all evil. But the Prophet (PBUH) announced that the child’s heaven is under the mother’s feet. Through his announcement, the status of women in the world was established. Besides, Prophet Karim (PBUH) announced the first policy of war in the world and said that women and children cannot be killed in the battlefield. Priests cannot be killed in temples, churches and pagodas.’

The advisor said, ‘What the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) said has been implemented. No exception has ever occurred. He has put theory into practice throughout his life. If we can follow the example of Rasool (PBUH), then our personal, family, social and national life will be enlightened and glorious.’

In the speech of the special guest, Iran’s ambassador to Bangladesh, Mansoor Chavoshi, said, “Allah has sent the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a mercy to the whole world. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) possessed the best character. He bound heretics, infidels, polytheists under the banner of Islam.’ The ambassador urged Muslims to forget their differences and unite for the greater good of the Muslim Ummah.

Cultural Counselor of Iran Embassy in Dhaka Syed Reza Mirmohammadi presided over the program among others – Dhaka University Faculty of Arts Dean Professor Dr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman, former District and Sessions Judge Alhaj Mohammad Ismail Miah, President of Bangladesh Imam Association Maulana Lutfar Rahman and others.
