Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary MV Govindan said Anil Antony’s entry into BJP is a disgrace to democratic India and Kerala. There are no boundaries for Congressmen to join BJP. MV Govindan also stated that Antony’s helplessness is the helplessness of the Congress itself.
Antony and the Congress leadership remained silent on Anil’s pro-BJP stance. Neither Leader of Opposition VD Satheesan nor KPCC President K Sudhakaran tried to contradict or correct him on such statements.
It is because the political positions are similar that there is no difficulty in switching from Congress to BJP and rarely from BJP to Congress. BJP and Congress have become a system that can switch back and forth at any moment. This can be seen in the economic stance of the Congress and its stance against communalism.
The CPI-M and the Left have a completely different position from this. The Left strongly opposes the BJP’s communal stance and economic policies. It is not difficult for the Left to include the secularists in Congress who oppose globalization privatization economic policies, policy approaches that sell off public sector enterprises and constantly rob the people.
The BJP government is robbing the people of the country and stealing the wealth and giving India to one percent of the big people. The BJP is adopting the approach of nurturing Adani and Ambani in a way that concentrates forty percent of the country’s wealth in the hands of one percent.
Congress was the first to implement globalization policies in the country. Now BJP is continuing the same policies. Therefore, MV Govindan clarified that there is no difference of opinion between them on economic policies.
