– You scored teh most points in the match against Norrkoping in the European Cup.But after winning the last match, you said goodbye to the competition. How would you comment on the meetings held?
– I am very glad that we won our last game of the FIBA European Cup. Either way, it was crucial.The main thing is that we did it.To finish the season with a double-double, almost a triple-double, is amazing.
– Why did you win against an opponent to whom you lost at home?
– The start of the European Cup season was unsuccessful for us. The team failed to show its potential. Despite injuries and difficulties in the squad, we tried to improve mutual understanding between the team players. Regardless of home or away matches, we went to a good result in each and were close to it in most matches.
– how do you assess Sabah’s overall performance in European competition?
– We tried to use every opportunity. It was very difficult to do this with 6-7 players.
– Can you ever imagine that you will come to Azerbaijan and play for Sabah, playing for the NBA club Orlando Magic? Did you know anything about our country before coming here?
– To be honest, before joining Sabakh I did not have any information about Azerbaijan. Of course, like everyone else, my dream has always been to play in the NBA.
– Now you will play only in the Azerbaijani championship. Will it be difficult to tune in?
– I’m already fully used to it.
– Will you be able to adapt to our country? What do you like most about Azerbaijan?
– Together with my family, I am adapting more and more to Baku every day. This is a beautiful city. My family feels very comfortable and safe here. The food is also very tasty.
