The Meu INSS app and website, which suffered a total breakdown for more than 36 hours since Sunday night (21), continued with unstable access and services on Tuesday night (23).

Workers, retirees, pensioners and aid holders from the National Social Security Institute (INSS), throughout the day, remained without any access to the system, using social networks to complain about the problem.

Another reported concern about the unavailability of downloading the income report for those who need to file their Individual Income Tax (IRPF) declaration this year.

“My INSS, it works again, for God’s sake. I need to issue an extract for my father’s Income Tax. The deadline is already running out, ”he said.

According to Dataprev, which provides technology services for the INSS and the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), the system had its functioning restored at the beginning of the night.

The federal government data processing company admits, despite this, that there is still intermittency in some platform features, but justifies it with the high volume of access after almost two whole days with problems.

“Dataprev’s technical teams continue to work towards the return of normal operation of the Meu INSS platform”, he said in a note.

In all, the system adds up to almost 120 functionalities.

The breakdown, according to Dataprev, started on Sunday (21) after an unscheduled shutdown of disks during the standard maintenance procedure on storage equipment, carried out by the manufacturer at the Datacenter in Rio de Janeiro.

The impacted systems were: My INSS, Portal of Federal Medical Experts (PMF), INSS scheduling system and queries of information from the National Social Information Register (CNIS) and INSS benefits.

For those who need to issue the income report for this year’s IRPF declaration, whose deadline is May 31, the tip is to go to the bank that pays your benefit.

Meu INSS allows you to apply for benefits, book medical examinations, consult appointments already made, find out about the progress of processes, update data and even consult the monthly payment statement, including the amount of the advance payment of the first half of the 13th salary (50%) , which will be released in the coming days with the benefit referring to May.

Faced with failures in the system, the solution for policyholders is to look for information using the number 135.

Through the call center, it is possible to register with Social Security, apply for benefits, schedule an appointment at an agency, consult the results of medical examinations, consult benefit payment dates and make anonymous complaints, among other possibilities.

In addition, the insured person can talk to an attendant to obtain information about a Social Security benefit.

The call center hours are from Monday to Saturday, from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Brasília time). But the electronic service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the week.

The CNIS gathers data on the social security contributions of workers in the private sector. In this system, all employment relationships and the respective monthly payments to Social Security are listed.
