Anh Duy was born in 1999, the eldest son of musician Anh Quan and diva My Linh. He studied at the United Nations International School in Hanoi. According to Anh Duy’s parents, he loves playing the piano and dancing, was a member of the Pixelated dance group and often performed at school.

Although worried that her child will pursue a difficult medical career, the Vietnamese music diva believes that the happiest thing is when her child can do the job that she loves and chooses. “Both husband and wife respect their children’s interests and desires, never forcing them to do things they don’t want to do. Of course, the important thing is awareness, when knowing the right thing – people will go the right way. We just listen and feel the children’s abilities, from there compare with what they are dreaming to orient their future careers,” said the female singer.

A few months ago, Anh Duy graduated from university and received a job offer in Australia. This achievement was achieved after much effort from the whole family, so My Linh was very emotional. “This morning while driving, my son called to tell me he received the job offer. I was choked up remembering the long seven years, including several years of COVID-19. For seven years, my parents and I worked hard for him to receive the offer today. How could I not be choked up with joy!”, the singer expressed her happiness.
Musician Anh Quan is also very proud of his son: “Pursuing a career that the whole family cannot support, he has his own difficulties but he overcomes them all. Now he understands the meaning of “following the career to save people” that I once confided in him.”
