jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Marc Marquez, Ducati Lenovo racer, admitted that he had achieved all his wishes during his career in MotoGP.
Marquez is now the active racer who has won the most titles, namely eight, six of which are MotoGP world champions.
“I have achieved what I wanted,” said the Spanish racer, quoted from the MotoGP page, Sunday (12/1). “The target is to try and extend my career and try to be competitive again. Then, if I win another title, this will be something in other hands, but my main goal has been achieved,” said Marc Marquez.
The racer nicknamed The King of Crasher has just completed an agreement to move his team from Gresini Racing to Ducati Lenovo.
Marquez, who experienced a down season with Honda because he had to deal with injuries and engine problems, started to show quite promising performances last season.
Together with Gresini, Marquez recorded three grand prix wins, seven podiums and was ranked third in the 2024 MotoGP final standings.
To hunt for the ninth title in his career, Marquez must at least compete with his teammate, Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia, defending champion Jorge Martin, and his former partner, Enea Bastianini. (antara/jpnn)
