Ravindra Jadeja has thanked captain Rohit Sharma for putting him in the 5th batting order with great confidence.

India won the first two matches of the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka 2-0. Jadeja and Sanju Samson got the chance to bat in this series.
In the 2nd T20 match in particular, both Samson and Jadeja played immensely. Samson hit 39 off 25 balls and Jadeja hit 45 off 18 balls. Jadeja’s batting was excellent. Jadeja, who has greatly improved his batting over the last 2 years, is now batting immensely.
Relying on him, captain Rohit Sharma dropped Jadeja to 5th in the 2 T20I series against Sri Lanka. Without wasting Rohit’s confidence, Jadeja made good use of the opportunity he got to play immensely.
Speaking after winning the 2nd T20 match, Jadeja said, “I enjoyed batting in the 5th row. Taking time for me and adapting to the environment, I was able to accelerate my innings a little bit. Thank you so much for the trust Rohit Sharma has placed in me. I was able to score for my team only because he put his trust in me and dropped to 5th. Audi adapts to the environment and I will definitely show my best for the success of my team as much as I can, ”Jadeja said.
