You entered the field for people’s struggle… have you come back to cinema?

I went to the protest field only after being in the cinema. Now I have come to cinema from the field of struggle. That’s it. My job is to fight on the floor and on screen. Both are indistinguishable to me.

Will you continue to direct films?

Strictly. I will continue to make films that convey our identity and our roots. I will give pictures that speak of our archetypal heroism, virtue and humility without any compromise. My films are such that everyone who sees the film can relate themselves to the film.
