Mysterious explosion in the south of the Gaza Strip: a short time ago (Tuesday) an explosion was heard in Khan Yunis which resulted in the injury of at least 7 people who were evacuated from the apartment. Among the injured: a woman who was evacuated to the hospital in critical condition when her life was in real danger.
So far, two deaths have been reported – Mira al-Etalalda, a 9-year-old minor, and Nidal al-Etal.
The explosion that took place in the apartment belonging to the Al-Attal family in the West Khan Yunis area in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Hamas Interior Ministry responded
It is estimated that this is an explosive device that exploded.
The spokesman for the Hamas Interior Ministry said: “An explosion occurred in a house west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, and led to several casualties. Police forces and other factors are monitoring the incident.”
