N64 update available from Switch Online (version 2.6.0), here’s what’s included
Switch Online’s N64 library received a previous update to add the Nintendo Classic Surf 64 and also jump the app to version 2.6.0.
Nintendo does not release patch notes for these specific updates, but fortunately for the Nintendo dataminer oat dome He’s here again to reveal all that goes on behind the scenes. There’s a lot going on at the back end this month — with a few tweaks to last month’s release, Pokémon Puzzle League:
[NSO – Nintendo 64] Version 2.6.0 has been released.
Another 64 wave race.
Display settings for the NTSC, German and French versions of PAL from Pokemon Puzzle League have been modified (settings related to the color frame buffer have been removed).
Adjusted sorting to place PAL versions after NTSC.
In addition, there have been some changes to the N64 implementation in Japan. Some changes are evident in the Robo V2.0 custom as well as the Fanta ads in Wave Race 64 that have been replaced by the N64 logo.
Meanwhile, some other changes have taken place in Japan. It should be noted that it appears that Fanta ads have been removed in Wave Race 64.

N64 Switch Online 2.6.0:
– Pokémon Puzzle League has seen initialization removed and updated PCB and NRO (Token Reassembly). Maybe a fix for something.
– Custom Robo V2 PCB and NRO update.
Wave Race 64 Rumble Pak (Japan) replaced Fanta ads on the Nintendo 64 logo.
