NAD Revives Classic Amplifier Line with New C 3030 and C 3030S Models
NAD is expanding its celebrated Classic series with the launch of two new amplifiers, the C 3030 and C 3030S, building on the success of the anniversary model C 3050. These affordable and compact units draw inspiration from the iconic NAD 3030 of the late 1970s, blending retro aesthetics with modern technology.
“Vinyl and CDs are back, not as a replacement for streaming, but as a way to reconnect with music in a more conscious way,” stated a company representative. “With the C 3030, our goal was to make that experience available to more listeners.”
The C 3030 and C 3030S feature a classic black front panel and analogue VU meters, evoking the design of their predecessor. However, beneath the surface lies a wealth of contemporary features. Both models deliver 50 watts per channel, prioritizing stable power, control, and musical precision, even when paired with challenging speakers.
Unlike the C 3050, which boasts a luxurious wood finish, the new amplifiers adopt a slimmer profile – just 356 mm wide – making them ideal for bookshelves or smaller living spaces. The C 3030 is particularly well-equipped for modern connectivity, offering HDMI eARC for enhanced TV audio, alongside Bluetooth support with aptX HD for wireless music streaming.
A built-in subwoofer output with an 80 Hz high-pass filter further enhances versatility, allowing for 2.1 configurations and deeper bass response without the need for a dedicated surround receiver. The C 3030 also includes a phono input with MM-RIAA support for turntables, as well as optical and analog inputs, effectively functioning as both a comprehensive music system and a TV sound solution.
For users seeking an all-in-one solution, the C 3030S presents an even more compelling option. It incorporates all the features of the C 3030, and adds BluOS, NAD’s integrated streaming and multiroom platform. This provides access to high-definition streaming up to 24-bit/192 kHz, compatibility with over 20 streaming services, multi-room audio capabilities, and playback of locally stored music.
The NAD C 3030 will be available in February 2026 with a recommended price of SEK 10,998. The C 3030S will follow in spring 2026, priced at SEK 14,498.
