/ Durrat Karbala and Al-Shorta teams qualified for the Iraqi Premier Tennis League, at the conclusion of the First Division Tennis League competitions.

The Vice President of the Tennis Federation, Asaad Shaker, told Agency, “The final competitions took place on the Baghdad tennis courts and witnessed fierce competition between the participating teams.”

He added, “The final competitions resulted in the crowning of the Durrat Karbala Club in first place, the Police Club in second place, while the Armenian Club came in third place.”

Asaad revealed the remaining positions up to 11th place, where Rawanduz Club came in fourth, Dijlah Club in fifth place, Amwaj Al-Mawsili Club in sixth place, Akkad Ankawa Club in seventh place, Baqubah Club in eighth place, Al-Mu’allimin Club in ninth place, Al-Shabab Al-Basri Club in tenth place, and Al-Basra Club in eleventh place.

He pointed out that two clubs qualified for the Premier League for tennis for the next season after the conclusion of today’s competitions, namely Durrat Karbala Club, which qualified first, and Al-Shorta Club, which came in second in the tournament.
