Kochi: Director Nadirsha has been questioned by the Crime Branch in connection with a case in which Dileep and other accused conspired to kill the investigating officers in the actress assault case. The interrogation lasted for three hours. The main question was whether Dileep was involved in the plot to assassinate the officers. Nadirsha is Dileep’s close friend. Nadirsha had earlier reacted in favor of Dileep on Facebook. The probe team is also looking into Dileep’s financial dealings. Dileep’s chartered accountant was questioned yesterday. It is learned that he was asked about details of unaccounted transactions.
The accused in the case, including Dileep, will be questioned again. Dileep’s brother Anoop was directed by the crime branch to appear on Monday. Anoop was asked by the Crime Branch investigation team to appear the previous day but did not appear. No notice was received. With this, the crime branch team reached their house and posted a notice. Dileep’s sister’s husband will call Suraj and Dileep the next day. The phone test results of these accused will be available soon. The investigation team is of the view that this will be crucial in the case.

Meanwhile, in a conspiracy case, Dileep has approached the High Court seeking quashing of the FIR. Dileep claims that there is no evidence to substantiate the allegations.
