This volume represents a recovery rate of 109% for passengers compared to the same period in 2019 (715,145 travelers), specifies ONDA in its latest report on commercial air traffic.
For the month of November alone, Nador-El Aroui international airport posted a recovery rate of 98%, with 54,061 passengers welcomed, compared to 55,300 travelers during the same period in 2019, the Office continued.
At the national level, the Kingdom’s airports welcomed 18,467,415 passengers during the first eleven months of this year, representing a recovery rate of 80% compared to the same period in 2019.
“For cumulative air traffic from January to the end of November 2022, Morocco’s airports continue to show recovery rates that are increasing compared to the same period in 2019, welcoming 80% of passengers and 82% of airport movements, or respectively 18,467,415 passengers and 157,687 airport movements for all airports,” ONDA emphasizes.
During the month of November alone, Morocco’s airports recorded a commercial traffic volume of 1,914,705 passengers and 15,341 airport movements, representing recovery rates of 96% and 92%, respectively, compared to the same period in 2019.
