ABU DHABI – Nafis Award for excellence in indigenization for private companies. The award was announced by Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Court and Chairman of Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council.
The award will also be given to natives who excel in private sector work. UAE law requires 2% indigenization of skilled posts in private companies with more than 50 employees.
It has been warned that action will be taken from January 1 against those who do not comply with the law by December 31.
