The police this evening started an investigation into the circumstances of the death of a woman in Balfour Park in Nahariya.
The police said that last night (Sunday), around 19:45, a report was received at Moked 100 about an unconscious woman in Balfour Park in Nahariya. Medical officials who were called to the scene performed CPR on the woman and evacuated her to the Galilee Medical Center, where they had to pronounce her dead.
From a preliminary investigation there is a suspicion of an incident of violence between the deceased (51) and the suspect (55), both residents of the north. Nahariya station police detained the suspect and another man who were present at the scene of the incident for questioning. The background and circumstances under review.
