Nahouri: The municipality of Zecco mobilized for the repair of road n°25
Po, (AIB) – The populations of the municipality of Zecco, in the province of Nahouri (Centre-Sud) mobilized on Saturday August 19, 2023 to repair national road n ° 25 which was in an advanced state of degradation.

Indeed, the populations of the said commune have mobilized to repair the section of the national road n ° 25 which crosses the commune.
Several means such as tricycles, wheelbarrows, pickaxes and shovels have been deployed to give a new face to the track which was in an advanced state of degradation.
From 8 a.m., the old, the young, the customary and religious authorities, the administrative authorities, the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), the heads of communal services and the members of the special delegation met to repair the national road n°25 which crosses the town of Zecco.
On the spot, the young people conveyed aggregates (laterite and pebbles) to plug the holes, the old people to raise the morale of the young people.
The prefect and president of the special delegation of Zecco, Etienne Sanglan, welcomed the support of the populations, in particular the elderly and the customary and religious authorities.
Mr. Sanglan invited each son and daughter of the commune to remain mobilized until the 3 kms of road are repaired.
Thus, the customary authorities blessed the day before the start of the work. Work will continue on September 9.
After this day, the date of September 9, 2023 was chosen for the continuation of the work. A collection was requested to support the efforts of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the VDP.
