On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the ADMK, a state level 20 over cricket tournament was held on behalf of the ADMK in Salem, Konkanapuram on 11th.
In this, 32 teams from the districts of Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Namakkal and Tiruvannamalai participated. Namakkal Raja Brothers team won the first prize, Konganapuram Jaguar Cricket Academy won the 2nd prize, Rasipuram Sachin team won the 3rd prize, Erode Kongu team won the 4th prize.
The awarding ceremony was held yesterday. Koranambatti Panchayat Council President Rajkumar presided. Venkatesh, brother-in-law of former Chief Minister Palaniswami and member of the General Committee, presented the trophy to the winning team. Deputy Chairman of District Panchayat Committee Rajendran, City Secretary Murugan of Ethapadi, Co-operative Society President Rathanam, Anbu, Satish and others were present.
