The Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theater won the Grand Prix of the XX International “Funny Festival”, which was held in St. Petersburg (Russia), the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan told Day.Az.
The Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theater presented a performance called “Nameless” at the festival. The production of the Azerbaijani theater was highly appreciated by St. Petersburg theatergoers and was awarded an honorary award.
“Nameless” is a play about the great power of love, which allows men and women to admit their mistakes, although sometimes it is quite difficult. But love conquers all.
The play “Nameless” addresses these issues in the image of a family. The main characters of this performance (prepared in the style of modern dance) are a man and a woman. One of millions of women and men without names, or rather a generalized form of millions of women and men.
The author and director of the play is Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Nargilya Garibova. The roles were performed by Nargilya Garibova and Elnur Ismayilov
